Untreated, Radiata Pine Thermowood offers excellent durability and natural resistance to decay and insects, making it an ideal choice for external use. Its enhanced thermal modification process improves its stability and resistance to weathering, ensuring reliable performance in exposed outdoor environments.
To maintain its natural appearance and extend its lifespan, we recommend applying a suitable wood oil or stain, such as OSMO. This helps to preserve its rich, warm tones while providing additional protection against cracking and the effects of UV exposure. Staining enhances the timber's durability, ensuring it retains its structural integrity and aesthetic appeal over time, making Redwood Thermowood a reliable and long-lasting option for outdoor projects.
