Treatment Untreated, Oak is naturally durable and resistant to rot, making it an excellent choice for outdoor use. However, to protect its natural beauty and enhance its longevity, we highly recommend applying a suitable stain or oil, such as OSMO. This will help preserve its rich colour and provide additional protection against weathering, cracking, and movement. Staining not only enhances the oak's durability but also ensures it maintains its appearance and structural integrity over time.
